Lend Lease announces two senior sustainability appointments
Lend Lease today announced two internationally recognised green building experts, Ché Wall and Joe Van Belleghem, will join the company in coming months.
These key appointments continue Lend Lease’s strategic focus on sustainability. They will work with Lend Lease’s Group Head of Sustainability Maria Atkinson, with an initial focus on supporting Lend Lease’s large integrated urban regeneration precinct projects.

“Combined with the resources and skills across the Lend Lease Group, Maria, Ché and Joe will provide internationally recognised expertise, industry experience and networks that will further support our sustainability credentials.”
Ché Wall was the Managing Director of the WSP Lincolne Scott group of companies and was the founding Chairman of the World Green Building Council. He was also co-founder of the Green Building Council of Australia and its Green Star rating system.
Joe Van Belleghem was the founder of the Canada Green Building Council and served on the Board of Directors for the US Green Building Council. He was the CEO and founder of Canadian developer Windmill West, the developer behind Dockside Green, a world-leading sustainable mixed use development which has won numerous industry accolades and awards.
